My name is Ally-May and I am a beautiful old lady who loves to have a good chat with you. My foster carers have taken to calling me just "Ally" and I'm quite alright with that. I absolutely love a good smooch when I see you. Most of the time I will follow you around the house and love when you give me attention.
The first night in foster care was scary for me as I was in a new place. I didn't eat much or go to the toilet but once I got comfortable I made their home mine.
I'm a very special cat as in my younger years I was a blood donor at the Perth Emergency Vet Clinic. Unfortunately I've put on a bit of weight over the years and the doc has now put me on a strict weight management diet to get the tubbyness down.
I sometimes have a strange behaviour which is I randomly hiss. This is not aggressive behavior but something I may have picked up over the years but do not take it personally - I'm not angry at you. Look, I may even do it at walls sometimes.
Don't get me wrong I'm an extremely friendly girl but I'm not very confident around other animals. Due to this I really do think I'd best thrive in an environment with no other animals or children. To be honest I think I would love a home with a retired owner(s). I absolutely require lots of love and attention to thrive in my new home and I'm sure you can give that to me!
Please come and meet me soon in my foster home in Wellard.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
