Fantastic Friends

Hi, my name Alba. I’m a middle aged lady with middle age spread (I’ve had kittens, so my tummy is a bit stretched), so I’m not cat walk model! The vet isn’t sure how old I am, but she thinks I’m over 10. I have a bit of a problem with biting some of my fur, but the lovely Cat Haven vet seems to have found a medication that I take every two days that limits me doing this. I’m very good at taking my tablet too. Don’t let this put you off adopting me, as I am the most loving cat. I love to sit on your lap or curl up on the bed next to you and my foster carers say I am the best warm lap rug during winter. I like a chat and a head bump, especially around meal times or when I want some company in the evening. Otherwise you will find me curled up in a nice sunny spot, having a sound sleep. I come as a pair with my daughter/sister (the Cat Haven aren’t sure which), Tilly, who I usually have a play with in the morning. We particularly like chasing each other up the long passageway, although we are both really rubbish at jumping, so we tend to stay at ground level.

I’m Tilly and I am the catwalk model! I’m a little cat and I’m not as confident as Alba around new people. Once I get to know you, I will be your best friend. I love to talk to you and I LOVE getting brushed, however, I’m not a lap cat (I have tried it once with my foster mum and it was OK, so I could be) and I don’t like being picked up. I do love lying next to you on the couch or bed. I have a purr like a 747 engine, as I just want to show you how happy I am and how much I love you. I like chasing toys and am a literature fan. I devour any paper I find lying on the floor – literally! We are a bonded pair – do you have room in your life for both of us?

Come and meet us in our foster home in Swanbourne

Want to adopt me?

To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:

Phone: 9442 3633

The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
