I'm a beautiful girl whose owner sadly passed away. It is very confusing for an older cat to suddenly find herself homeless and to lose a loving owner. Thankfully, Cat Haven and my new foster family have given me the time I've needed to come to terms with this. After some gentle love and careful coaxing, I really am a different kitty now.
As my name suggests, I am a regal girl who loves to sit up high where I can overlook my castle. I am very content to laze in the sun, but once my humans are home I just love to have my belly rubbed, and will streeetch and roll around with my purr on, irresistible to anyone.
Don't let my age fool you though, because while I may be 7 yrs old I also have a playful side to me, and will dart around with a tennis ball while no one is watching! My foster family have also come to realise my obsession for tuna - I really can't get enough of it, and will verbally tell anyone around when it's time for my dinner.
During my time in care I've come to trust my foster family, but I'm still wary of strangers in my house - who wouldn't be really? So while I may run and hide from unknown voices, my foster family can truly say it's worth the wait and patience for my never-ending affection.
Because I'm a bit shy around new people and am easily startled by loud noises, my foster family thinks it's best for me to go to a home without children, preferably an older single person who has the patience to give me all the attention and love I deserve. I seem to relate better to females than to males (sorry fellas!).
As for other feline friends, perhaps with some slow introductions I could learn to share my kingdom. I would also need a home where I can be kept 100% indoors to protect my white nose from getting sun damage, and I'll need regular brushing to keep my beautiful coat nice and tangle free.
If you think you are suited to give a sweet girl like me a furrever home, please come and meet me at my foster home in Madeley.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
