Meow! I’m Hana, and I’m a friendly young girl who can’t wait to meet my forever family! Did you know Hana means ‘flower’ in Japanese? Everyone says it suits me because I’m so pretty and I’m blossoming in to such a lovely cat. I’m social and friendly, I love pats and I can be quite vocal – you’ll get used to hearing my cute meow in no time!
It’s been a long journey for me. I’ve travelled to Cat Haven all the way from Esperance to find my family. I came from a place with too many cats so I’m looking for a quieter home where I can be the only cat and lap up all the love I deserve from my humans. I also had a tough time with the dogs on the farm, they were a bit too big and scary for me, so don’t think I’d cope too well with dogs again.
Will you be the one who will give this little flower the chance to bloom with you? Please arrrange to meet Hana in her foster home in Como.
Hana is one of our special FIV positive cats. This means you need to take extra special care of this beautiful girl. FIV+ cats have to protect their immune systems - just like humans who have recovered from a health issue. So you will need to ensure she has her annual health check and vaccinations plus regular worm and flea treatments (just as you would for any cat). In support of our lovely FIV+ cats the annual vaccination is free at the Cat Haven Vet Clinic. To protect both her and other cats Hana needs to be an indoor cat.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
