I am a very sweet older lady looking for an affectionate family with a nice quiet house so I can really enjoy my retirement.
I really like being shown affection and I am very affectionate myself, once I’ve had a little time to settle in. Because I’m 8 years young, I also like spending a lot of my time snoozing or sitting in comfortable places. Maybe we can be couch buddies?
I’m may not the most striking looking, but once you get to know me, you won’t be able to resist my sweet face, pretty eyes and elegantly turned-out “ballet feet”! Also note that because of my cute pink nose and half-white ear, I will have to be a strictly indoors-only cat to protect me from skin cancer.
I’ve had a bit of a tough life, so I’m really looking forward to a stress-free environment. I’m not a good match for children, and I don’t really like other animals much. My ideal home would center around me as your one and only.
My initial assessment at Cat Haven labelled me as “feisty”, but that’s really all an act. It’s just that I hiss whenever I’m frightened, to make myself seem like a tough customer. I have a pretty low tolerance for things that are scary, so I do hiss quite often. It’s all bark, no bite though – I am not aggressive in any other way, and I generally get over my fright immediately. I’ve even been known to hiss while purring and actively pushing my head forward for more pats!
Not that I’m crazy… I just need a special family that can see through my act to the softie that I really am. If this sounds like you, why not come and meet me in my foster home in Girrawheen?
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
