Hi guys. I've been at Cat Haven for a while now, and it's made me quite grumpy! I went into foster care to recover from this thing called calici. It's like the cat flu but causes ulcers on the tongue. Now I'm all better, and back at the Cat Haven ready to find my furrever home!
I do have a few health issues. I'm a FIV+ boy so I need to stay 100% indoors and without other cats, but I would purrfur that anyway, because of my pale skin and also I'm really not a fan of other cats; I need to be your one and only. I have a skin allergy as well but that's no big deal; I just need a good diet and I have to stay up to date with my flea treatment.
I hope my tindurr profile didn't scare you off. Did I mention that I'm REALLY good looking?
Come and meet me today at Cat Haven.
Warner is one of our special FIV positive cats. This means you need to take extra special care of this handsome boy. FIV+ cats have to protect their immune systems - just like humans who have recovered from a health issue. So you will need to ensure he has his annual health check and vaccinations plus regular worm and flea treatments (just as you would for any cat). In support of our FIV+ cats the annual vaccination is free at the Cat Haven Vet Clinic. To protect both him and other cats Bernard needs to be an indoor cat and, unless you have another FIV+ cat, he needs to be your one-and-only feline fur-child.
