Since she moved with us, Jade has improved her attitude a lot towards people. It took her around a month to get used to her new place. She used to stay in a corner of her safe room, barely coming out of her blanket, but still keen on a cuddle or two. Once she got used to us and her foster home she changed so much. Jade is a cat that is super shy, doesn't like being on top of people (no lap cat) and a bit of a scardy pants, but she loves being around us. Everywhere we are, she'll be around and most of the times, she's asking for cuddles. She also loves playing around a lot, specially with carboard boxes and empty toilet paper rolls. Jade seems to need to be around people a lot and she gets really sad when no one is around. One more thing, now she only goes to her safe room for food and litter, she's never there, not even for sleeping. Now that she's comfy, she sleeps with us in our bed, always in her same little corner. All in all, Jade is a shy cat that needs time, but once adapted, she'll not stop looking for cuddles and play.
You’ve probably noticed her lovely pink nose – this means she will need to be a fully indoor cat to keep her safe from the sun.
Please come and meet her in her foster home in Inglewood.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
