Hello, my name is Cheekee. I am a shy boy - I want to be patted, and love for my head to be scratched, but I need for you to be patient with me. I am a very anxious cat, and will appreciate your patience while I adjust. But day by day I am getting braver!
I love to explore and get up high, and I can jump like an athlete. However there have been times when I have misjudged, and embarrassingly had to get my foster Dad to help getting up while I cling to the edge. I can be a little clumsy and have knocked things off. I also like to hide from my foster Dad. Slowly I am beginning to trust him, and he has figured out that I am not a fan of chicken (but will eat eventually if I have to, bleh). I love fish however, even if there is a little chicken mixed in.
I came from a house with too many cats so I should be okay around other cats after a proper introduction but would need a home with no young children. Plus I need to be an indoor cat so that I'm protected from sun damage.
You might think I look a little grumpy in this photo but I'm just contemplating how to beat my foster Dad in our next game of Thunderstone. How about we get together soon for a play date at my foster home in Midvale?
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
