Mootsie is such an affectionate cat with tonnes of love to give, he's a very laid back kitty that doesn't mind tummy rubs or having his paws stroked!
He loves the company of people and is constantly purring to communicate his love to you. He absolutely loves lap cuddles and takes every opportunity to come rest on your lap, and if he can't get onto your lap, he'll settle right up against you waiting for some more love and affection.
Mootsie is confident with people but he sure is not a fan of loud sounds or sudden movements, and would best appreciate a home with no young children and perhaps a home where the owner is home more often than not, to give him all the love and attention he deserves. He may be timid at first, but it definitely doesn't take long for his affections to show, he is just that sweet!
Although he has to take a few medications, they're an absolute breeze to give to him because of his gentle and loving nature. He needs to be an indoor cat to protect him from sun damage.
Come and meet him in his foster home in Nollamara. In the meantime take a look at some more photos of this gorgeous guy.
Mootsie has hyperthyroidism for which he needs to take medication daily. He also needs to have regular blood tests to monitor his condition. Under the Animal Support Program Mootsie is entitled to free medication and free vet consults at the Cat Haven clinic in relation to his condition. Please contact the Foster Care office if you would like more information.

The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
