Vets and Vet Nurses

Due to the unprecedented number of recent adoptions at Cat Haven, we are in urgent need of vets and vet nurses for weekend surgery. Shifts available from the weekend commencing 15th and 16th of January, through to the end of February. Award wages. Vet Nurse - Full Time

This is a great opportunity to dedicate your time and skills to Cat Haven, WA's Premier Cat Welfare organinsation. You will report directly to the Senior Vet which provides you with the opportunity to further your knowledge in a great hands on learning environment. You will be required to -Maintain general clinic hygiene and care. -Co ordinate theatre routines. -Nursing procedures for routine cases and non routine cases. -Assist in admin procedures of the Clinic. -Promote responsible cat ownership. -Work autonomously It is essential that you are registered under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1960 at all times whilst employed by Cat Haven. Additionally, you may be asked to assist on weekends.

Ranger - fixed term

Commencing in September, this is a fixed term position of 6 months with possibility of extension. Reporting directly to the Senior Ranger you will assist in the following: -Trapping and rescuing cats in and around Perth. -Improving public awareness on Cat Welfare. -Encouraging responsible pet ownership. -Working directly with the general public. -Revenue Maximisation. You will need to possess a current manual "C" class drivers license. A cooperative and team focused attitude is essential in this small seven days a week operation.

Cat Welfare Officer

Vet Nurse - Part Time

Ranger

Cat Haven Rangers are responsible for setting and checking cat traps, rescuing, transporting, handling, and assessing cats and kittens. Commercial Ranger
