How you can help

Every year in Western Australia thousands of cats and kittens are brought to the safety of Cat Haven. We rehome as many as we can, and provide a humane and dignified end for those we can’t.

While we charge for most of our services, many of these are heavily subsidised. We’re glad to help with the cost of sterilisation, vaccination, microchipping and so on because, at the end of the day, we’re here for cat welfare in all its forms. But, we can’t do it without your help.

So here’s how you can help:

Donate

At Cat Haven we receive no government funding. We rely heavily upon donations to give the homeless and injured cats in our community a second chance.

Membership

Your membership of the Cat Welfare Society will assist Cat Haven in improving cat welfare in Western Australia and in providing care and rehoming facilities for rescued and surrendered cats.

Volunteering

Volunteering at Cat Haven is a fantastic way to meet like-minded people and to be involved with a group of people who are focused on improving the welfare of cats in Western Australia.

Fostering

Fostering is a wonderfully rewarding experience for you and lifesaving for the cats in your care.

Wish List

This never really changes. Cat Haven is always in need of these items, clean and in reasonable condition. They can be dropped off any day during our opening hours below.

Donation Tins

Donation Tins are an easy way to help raise the funds needed to keep our Foster Care Programme running. This money goes directly to saving lives.

Bequests

Making a Bequest to benefit a cause close to your heart is a wonderful way to ensure your wishes today are carried out well into the future. In particular, a bequest to Cat Welfare Society Inc will help Cat Haven to promote the continued welfare of cats and kittens in Western Australia. Gifts in Lieu

 Christmas is never far away! Shopping for gifts for friends and family can sometimes be difficult. What should be a happy family time of year can be a headache for shopping for those hard to buy for people, or the person who has everything.

Pen Sponsorship

Sponsoring one of our Cat or Kitten pens is a rewarding way to support Cat Haven. You can do this for only $150. The sponsorship lasts for 12 months. During this time you will have a plaque displayed on the door of the kennel that you have selected. After the 12 months, you will get to keep the plaque. In addition, you will receive a personalised sponsorship certificate.

New Ranger Van Donation Progress

For a number of years now, Cat Haven's unique Ranger Rescue Service has responded to calls from other animal welfare organisations, local government and members of the public in response to stray and abandoned cats.
