Christmas is never far away! Shopping for gifts for friends and family can sometimes be difficult. What should be a happy family time of year can be a headache for shopping for those hard to buy for people, or the person who has everything.

Many people also feel that a little of the Christmas spirit is clouded by commercialism and consumerism. Or maybe you just can’t face the hassle and stress of finding parking bays at major shopping centres!

Whatever you feel, perhaps we can offer a gift which will give a cat or kitten a second chance of a long and happy life in a loving home.

As a charity which receives no government financial support, funding is crucial to us in order to continue to look after the 8,000 or so cats and kittens which come through our doors each year.

So why not give a meaningful gift this Christmas, one that will benefit one of the voiceless in the community. This is what your gift goes towards:

• $10 will provide eye ointment for 4 kittens
• $25 will put a mother cat and her kittens through our foster care programme
• $30 will provide all the medication needed for a mother cat with cat  ’flu and her babies
• $50 will rescue an abandoned cat from the streets by our Ranger Rescue Service
• $100 will sterilise a high risk female

As Cat Haven has tax deductible status, you will get the benefits of being able to claim your gift at tax time!

• Pop into our shelter with a cash payment and see the work we do. Our Reception is open from 8.00am to 5.00pm 7 days a week.

Remember to include your friend or family member’s name and address so we can acknowledge your generous gift to them and your details so that we can post out your receipt.
