New Ranger Van Donation Progress

For a number of years now, Cat Haven's unique Ranger Rescue Service has responded to calls from other animal welfare organisations, local government and members of the public in response to stray and abandoned cats.

We believe that it is an important part of cat welfare, to ensure these cats are not left on the streets to breed and be abused. Our Rangers are on the road 52 weeks of the year, from as far north as Yanchep to Mandurah in the south.

Help Cat Haven's unique Ranger Rescue Service in purchasing new vans to continue their important work!

Our Rangers bring the cats back to our shelter at Shenton Park where in the case of strays we try and track the owners. In all cases, each cat is assessed as to whether or not they are suitable to be rehomed.

It costs us $200,000 per year to operate this service for which we receive no government funding.

In addition to this, our Rangers vans are old and nearing the end of their lives, and we are in desperate need of replacing them, so we can continue to provide our vital rescue work.

We are appealing to you to make a tax deductible donation towards our Ranger service and the purchase of a new vehicle. With your help, we will continue to rescue these strays from a life on the streets of Perth.

To make a donation, please visit out Donations Page.  Make sure you write - "Donation for New Van" when you are completing the form, so we know to put the funding towards the purchase of the new van. Thank you.
