Hi, my name is Ally-May and I just celebrated my 10th birthday!! Although foster mum let me celebrate the occasion with a special roast chicken breakfast, what I would really love for my birthday is to find my forever home. See birthday photos on Instagram.
I am a beautiful old lady who loves to have a good chat with you. Foster mum says that I am so polite as I always use my inside voice in the house, none of this loud yelling that some of the younger cats do – kids these days! Me and foster mum spend quality time together chatting about our day when she gives my soft fur a nice brush, I love that feeling, and I love that attention!
I love to sleep in bed with my foster mum, I even say goodnight every night with a little head nudge and some final pats before we both drift off. When she turns her alarm off in the morning I make sure she wakes up! And if all else fails I will sit on her until she gets out of bed.
I absolutely love a good smooch when I see you, and head-boops are my most Favourite. Thing. In. The. World. Most of the time I will follow you around the house and love when you give me attention, and don’t worry, I will remind you if I am overdue for a head-boop or five. I also love windows – there is so much fun stuff to see from up there! You might often find me perched on a window-sill, watching the world go by. Or watching to see when you get home so I can get more head-boops!
I'm a very special cat as in my younger years I was a blood donor at the Perth Emergency Vet Clinic. Unfortunately I've put on a bit of weight over the years and the doc has now put me on a strict weight management diet to get the tubbyness down. Foster mum tricks me into doing exercise by walking laps of the house when I think I am getting a head-boop – she’s so cheeky!
Don't get me wrong I'm an extremely friendly girl but I'm not very confident around other animals. Due to this I really do think I'd best thrive in an environment with no other animals or children. To be honest I think I would love a home with a retired owner(s), who are around a lot to give me lots of head-boops and scratchies. If you want a cat that is happy to jump on your lap, or maybe walk on you, I’m your lady. I absolutely require lots of love and attention to thrive in my new home and I'm sure you can give that to me! Please come and meet me in my foster home in West Perth.
*My adoption fee has been pre-paid by a generous supporter of Cat Haven.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
