Hi I'm Shelsea! I'm cute, I'm loving, I'm cuddly, I’m a massive attention seeker, I'm a squishy purr monster and great big softie. I will sit with you and keep you company all day, I will climb into bed with you and snuggle all night long. I will come running when you call, meowing and chattering away. I will play like crazy and leave you in fits of laughter!
I have had a pretty tough start in life so far....at a young age I found myself lost and homeless, and turns out I was pregnant too! I had no choice but to bring up my 4 kittens on the streets, it was the middle of winter and so cold but we were an awesome little family and made it through each day together. One day some kids were being really mean to me, but as luck would have it an angel was watching over us and rescued us. She brought me and my four 5-week old babies to the safety of a Cat Haven foster home. We were warm and cosy, with lots of yummy food and copious amounts of love and cuddles! PERFECT! Just what my babies needed.
It was very clear straight away that on top of all of this I had been suffering from a bad injury for some time which resulted in having to have one of my back legs amputated.....It was quite strange at first but has never felt better! Despite everything that has happened I am still the friendliest affectionate girl ever who absolutely craves attention and will literally follow you around everywhere you go.
My kittens have all found love in their new forever homes, I have fully recovered from my operation and I'm incredibly happy to be back to being myself again. Now it’s my turn to be a bouncy playful kitten and shine like a star!! Check out some more photos of me here.
All I need now is my forever home! I'm not too keen on kids and other cats but would absolutely love a nice quiet home with someone who can play with me and give me lots of attention and cuddles!
I can't wait to fall in love and find my best friend! Come meet me at my foster home in Subiaco!
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
