Smooch Alert!

Hello, my name's Kitle!

I was quite stressed and scared when I first arrived in the shelter, but I found an amazing foster home who helped me feel safe and loved - now I've become a really loving and cuddly man. You can see my progress from scared cat at the shelter to relaxed boy by clicking here.

I'm a little unsure of new people, but my foster parents say once I get to know you I'm a stage 5 clinger. I love to play as well. With lots of enrichment, I'm a happy camper.

I can be a bit shy to begin with but once I trust you I really love to be around you. I can be a little boisterous so would not be suited to a house with young children or other pets.

Please come and meet me in my foster home in the City of Perth.

Kitle is one of our special FIV positive cats. This means you need to take extra special care of this handsome boy. FIV+ cats have to protect their immune systems - just like humans who have recovered from a health issue. So you will need to ensure he has his annual health check and vaccinations plus regular worm and flea treatments (just as you would for any cat). In support of our lovely FIV+ cats the annual vaccination is free at the Cat Haven Vet Clinic. To protect both him and other cats Kitle needs to be an indoor cat and he needs to be your one-and-only feline fur-child.

Want to adopt me?

To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:

Phone: 9442 3633
Email: fostercare@cathaven.com.au

The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
