Hey, my name is Sammy, my foster parents call me sassy pants Sammy.
I’m nearly 4 years old and with time and space I would be able to live with another cat. While I like to have the home and you to myself, I've recently been learning how to share my foster parents with other cats, I'm not happy about it but I guess I can deal.
I do not want to take up too much of your attention, I like my own space too. I will give you some cuddles on the couch, but most of the time I will cuddle you in the early hours of the morning in bed.
I like the standard cat things - lying in the warm sun, watching the birds in the garden from the window, play fighting on the odd occasion showing my kitten side. Dislikes are the vacuum (will hide behind all the pillows), too much attention and being left for a long time (will be waiting on you at the front door).
Anyway, if you think you can handle my sass, get in touch with the foster team to come visit me at my foster home in Bedford.
Sammy has a waiver for a skin condition which has caused severe alopecia and skin ulceration in the past. There are a number of different things that can cause this, she will need to stay 100% indoors, have monthly flea treatments and stay on her special food diet. Sammy has been with us for sometime while we worked to get her skin under control which seems to be working with Royal Caninn Anallergenic biscuits. She will need to use metal or ceramic bowls, not plastic.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
