Wozza is a five-year-old boy with a grumpy exterior but with a heart of gold. He is such a confident boy and rarely leaves anyone’s side. He prefers to be in the same room as someone and will follow you into the bathroom. He likes receiving pats and scratches but not too much!
Wozza came to Cat Haven as a stray and went into foster care as his fur was in a bad condition, covered in sores that irritated him. It took a while before his coat became fully soft again, but he will need to be on delicate care for the rest of his life to ensure his skin allergy doesn’t break out again. After the skin allergy was maintained his teeth needed attention so he had some teeth removed which made him more comfortable.
Contact Cat Haven to meet Wozza at his foster home in East Victoria Park and he’ll greet you at the door. See more photos on Instagram.Wozza is one of our special FIV positive cats. This means you need to take extra special care of this handsome boy. FIV+ cats have to protect their immune systems - just like humans who have recovered from a health issue. So you will need to ensure he has his annual health check and vaccinations plus regular worm and flea treatments (just as you would for any cat). To protect both him and other cats Wozza must be an indoor cat.Wozza has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past. There are a number of different things that can cause this condition and as it is not known what causes Wozza's reaction, it is important that you use a variety of preventative measures. Contact the Fostercare department if you would like more information on Wozza's skin condition.

The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
