This bonded pair are sweet, more mature, beautiful kitties that deserve to be treated like the queens they are for the rest of their wonderful lives. Taddy is a tiny tabby who is 16 years old and still cheeky. She talks quite a bit and loves to be near you, not always on you unless she wants to be. She is nimble and likes to be on the bench seeing what is going on. Shady is grey and is 14 years old. She is the calmest kitty who does not talk much, happy to be near you, not on you, and cuddles. They both like to be involved in what is going on a lot of the time so you need to be aware of fluffy trip hazards.
They have been in their foster home since early February and were at Cat Haven for one month prior. They came into CH as sadly their owner passed away. Taddy and Shady are well adjusted, very friendly kitties who like being around humans. Was difficult to keep them in their own room, kept escaping as wanted to know what was going on. They are currently socialising with 1 year old kitties and tolerating it well. All happy to have their own space or be near. Socialisation with children has been minimal in the foster home but they were happy to hang with them and be cuddled by visitors. There has been no socialisation with dogs in the foster home. To help them enjoy their twilight years it would be great for them to be in a calm home.
Shady & Taddy are unfortunately in the early stages of kidney failure, understandable given their maturity, and so eat a special diet of wet & dry food. They will need to be inside only to keep them safe from harm.
Please come and meet them soon in their foster home in Osborne Park.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
