My name is Little Guy. I can be shy at first but trust me once I get to know you, we will be best mates!
Here's an undate from my carer:
"He's quite timid and spent a lot of time under the bed, but is slowly warming up and is incredibly loving and curious when he's given the chance. If he's got a stable and mature home, where loud noises can be minimised, I'm sure he'll be a wonderful addition to the household. He loves ear scratches, and definitely lets you know when he's in the mood for affection with his loud purrs."
Please come and meet me in my foster home in Melville.
Little Guy is one of our special FIV positive cats. This means you need to take extra special care of this handsome man. FIV+ cats have to protect their immune systems - just like humans who have recovered from a health issue. So you will need to ensure he has his annual health check and vaccinations plus regular worm and flea treatments (just as you would for any cat). In support of our lovely FIV+ cats the annual vaccination is free at the Cat Haven Vet Clinic. To protect both him and other cats he needs to be an indoor cat and, unless you have another FIV+ cat, he needs to be your one-and-only feline fur-child.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
