Hi, I'm Paddy! I'm a friendly boy who loves attention! And I also love hit TV show Frasier, check me out with a signed cast photo!
My first night in my foster home I was a little nervous and hid behind the toilet. But by my second day I had come out of my shell and was such a smoochy cuddly boy.
I was a stray before the nice people at the Cat Haven found me. I'm happy to be off the streets because I have so much love to give. I just love people! I love nothing more than cuddling up on a human lap.
My foster carer thinks I'm such a brave boy because I travel in cars really well and because I warm up to people so quickly.
I have FIV and gingivitis, but my foster carer says I am so easy to care for. Because of my FIV and pale features, I will need to be an indoor only cat. But that's okay because I'm litter trained and never leave any unwanted surprises. Aren't I such a good boy? I can't wait to meet you in my foster home in West Perth.
Paddy is one of our special FIV positive cats. This means you need to take extra special care of this handsome man. FIV+ cats have to protect their immune systems - just like humans who have recovered from a health issue. So you will need to ensure he has his annual health check and vaccinations plus regular worm and flea treatments (just as you would for any cat). In support of our lovely FIV+ cats the annual vaccination is free at the Cat Haven Vet Clinic. To protect both him and other cats Paddy needs to be an indoor cat and, unless you have another FIV+ cat, he needs to be your one-and-only feline fur-child.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
