Two peas in a pod

We are Sebastian and Bailey (or possibly Bailey and Sebastian – even we get it mixed up sometimes). When we moved into our foster home we hid in a safe place and hissed at anyone who came near us for the first week or so, but once we worked out that our foster human wasn’t going to turn us into a pair of slippers we turned into complete smooches.
Bailey’s favourite things include belly rubs, ear rubs, belly rubs, dinner time, belly rubs, and belly rubs. He doesn’t always bother checking where he is when he wants a belly rub, so has occasionally ended up flopping enthusiastically sideways into his water dish.
Sebastian also likes dinner time and likes to be patted while he eats, but prefers to demand affection when he wants it and on his own terms. He still hides and hisses sometimes, but once he remembers he’s safe he comes back out to vigorously headbut legs until he gets attention.
We don’t like new people straight away, so when you meet us you’ll probably see us hiding again rather than being friendly, but if you decide to give us a chance and let us settle in slowly at your house, then Bailey will probably flop into his water dish for you too.

We should be okay with dogs after a slow introduction. Please come and meet us in our foster home in East Victoria Park.

Want to adopt me?

To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:

Phone: 9442 3633
Email: fostercare@cathaven.com.au

The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
