My name is Memphis and I am a super brave bold gentleman with gorgeous eyes and super soft fur.
I love a good chin scritch and tolerate being picked up for a quick cuddle but really prefer to just have eyes on you.
I love meeting new people, and am very well behaved with small humans. My foster friends also had a wee kitten here for a few days and I miss her very much, so would love to have more kitty siblings.
I also need to be on a special diet for the rest of my life, so sadly no treats for me. Happily I have my favourite bestie Mousie, we can play for hours.
You can really see my personality shine on Instagram @foster_cat_lifeMemphis is one of our special FIV positive cats. This means you need to take extra special care of this handsome boy. FIV+ cats have to protect their immune systems - just like humans who have recovered from a health issue. So you will need to ensure he has his annual health check and vaccinations plus regular worm and flea treatments (just as you would for any cat). To protect both him and other cats Memphis must be an indoor cat.Memphis has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past. There are a number of different things that can cause this condition and as it is not known what causes his reaction, it is important that you use a variety of preventative measures. Contact the Fostercare department if you would like more information on his skin condition.
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
