Hi, my name is Oak. It’s a nice strong name that I hope to live up to one day. When I first come to live with you I will pretend to be an acorn, hiding away and curling up a small as possible because I will be scared.
I am a black and white tuxedo boy who will need a lot of patience and love from my new family. Right now I am in foster care where my foster mum is trying to improve my confidence. I have been getting braver and now my foster mum says I'm acting more like a cat.
I like to run around a lot, especially after dinner when I play with my toys. I'm still not super cuddly, but I don't mind a pet and will sleep in my favourite spots even if other people are in the room. I am very food motivated, at bed time I do a run up then a flying leap into the hammock where I will purr loudly while waiting for my dinner to be served.
I have a pale pink nose so I must have minimal exposure to the sun. I would do best in a quiet home with someone who has plenty of patience and can wait for me to slowly come out of my acorn shell.
Come meet me online in my foster home which is in Carramar. Looking forward to meeting with you in the future.
Meow for now, Oak xx
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
