Pursonality Traits
Hi everyone,I am an 1 year old black panther named Carbon. I came to Cat Haven as a stray and went into foster care a couple of weeks ago. I am a very scared and terrified young man but it’s not surprising because I never had contact to humans before. Even after weeks in my foster home, I am still scared but my foster mum tries her best to make me feel more comfortable. I already made progress and feel comfortable enough to eat roast chicken in front of my foster mum now. I am not very food motivated but I can’t resist roast chicken.
My foster mum gives me chin scratches with a scratcher and I really enjoy it and my foster mum is now even allowed to pat me with her hands, however, I can act very defensive when I get scared so it’s better to be cautious. I am living with two other cats in my current foster home and I don’t mind them and a confident, cat friendly cat might even help me to settle into my forever home quicker. I am still too scared to play and I prefer to stay in my safe hiding place during the day but I explore the apartment at night.
Although I have started to enjoy living with my foster mums, it’s time to look for my forever home. My new parents need to be very patient and loving and I need a quiet home without young kids. It probably seems a lot to ask for but I am sure with a lot of time and patience I will become a loving cat. Do you have a forever home for me?
My foster home is in West Perth.
