Hi, I'm a very shy gal looking to find my fur-ever home. I was taken to a local vet clinic as a stray but no one came looking for me. So I came to Cat Haven where I've been adopted three times, but sadly returned as each time I just did not settle into my new household fast enough. I was only at one for four days and they returned me because I hid in my igloo the whole time! I am now looking for a loving and patient family that will help me come out of my shell and gain some confidence. Please don't adopt me because of my looks - I really need someone who is prepared to take me on as a long-term commitment and who is willing to give me all the time I need to become used to living as a pet and not a street cat.
I was with with my foster mum for a few months, and while I still find it difficult to be close to her, I don't mind hanging out in the same room. In fact, I was recently content to stay under the table watching her rattling around in the kitchen. So I'm gradually making progress!
It may take some time for me to become completely comfortable with you, but I'm such a sweet girl so it will be worth your while, I promise! I think I would calm down most in a quiet, mature home (definitely no young children, please). Do you have the purr-fect spot for me?
