Pursonality Traits

Hello, my name is Affogato but my foster mum has been calling me Bean. I don’t mind which one you use, I don’t really respond to my name. I will come to you when I feel like it and don’t like to be pressured into cuddles.

I’m already an adult lady and like spending my days soaking up the sun in front of the window, I disturbed. If you work during the day, I won’t be sad or anxious that you’re gone so you don’t have to worry about me. My favourite time is when you go to bed, that’s when I will come and join you for cuddles and head scratches. If you don’t like having a cat sleep in bed with you, I don’t think I’d be suitable for you, because I love sleeping between my foster mums legs.

I love being read to, any stories, as long as I get to hear your voice. It’s my favourite way to spend time with you. I do like to play to, but I’m very easy to please and my favourite toy is a ping pong ball that I like to chase around in the evening. A quieter household without young cats would be best for me, somewhere I can relax and look pretty as I nap in the sun.

I think I would do very well in a quiet household with no dogs. I am not sure about children yet as I haven’t met any, but if they leave me in peace I’m sure I could get used to them. I will need to go to a home where I can minimise my exposure to the sun so that my nose is protected.

Come meet me at my foster home in North Coogee.

Health Issues

Affogato has a heart murmur. The murmur has been assessed by Cat Haven veterinary staff as mild (grade three or less) and not likely to cause any adverse effects on her health. She also has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
