Purrsonality Traits

Hello humans, I'm Ziggie. I'm a cute lil 5yo boy looking for my forever home.

As you can see from my photos, I'm a very beautiful boy and would make a fabulous Instagram model, don't you think? I love head pats and chin scratches; playing with my toys; and staring out the window and watching people go by.

I'll need regular brushing and lots of play time, as I still have plenty of energy. I will do best in a home that has no young children or other pets.

Please come meet me at my foster home in South Perth.

Health Issues

Ziggie has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats. He also has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past. There are a number of different things that can cause this condition, and it can be difficult to determine the underlying cause without specialists testing and trials. It is not known what causes his skin reaction, therefore it is important that you use a variety of preventative measures.  Allergic skin conditions can recur throughout an animal’s lifetime and continued treatment/ intermittent medication may be required.

Ziggie was surrendered due to toileting inappropriately. The urine has been checked to rule out medical concerns, and it is likely that this behaviour is associated with stress and/or anxiety. However, for the month he has been in his foster home he has not had any toileting issues.
