Want to adopt me?To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
Phone:(08) 9442 3600
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi there! My name is Harry and I am 1 ½ years old. I like to call myself Handsome Harry, on account of how good-looking I am! I was brought to Cat Haven as a stray so I haven’t ever lived with people before and I find them a bit scary. However with the help of my foster family I’m slowly learning that I can trust them and with some time and patience I think I can be a very loving addition to your home.
I have made some amazing progress in the time I have been with my foster family. At first I was very scared and would hiss or swipe at anyone who came close to me. But now, even though I still spend most of my time hiding in my carrier, I am getting more confident coming out everyday and have even started using my voice. I will happily accept wet treats and will even let you give me head scratches sometimes.
While I spend most of my day hiding I am very active at night! I really enjoy playing with my foster brother while the humans sleep. Having another cat in the house has helped me come out of my shell immensely but I still need some time to overcome my shyness around people.
I think a quiet home without young children and maybe a fellow feline sibling would suit me best. If you think you have the furr-ever home for me, come and meet me at my foster home in Westminster.
