Purrsonality Traits

Hi friends!

My name is Olly & I’m 13 weeks old. I came to Cat Haven after being found in a park with a grass seed stuck in my ear which had made its way to my eye!

I’m all good now after having it removed & I have a waiver (see attached) for Horners syndrome, possibly caused by the grass seed trauma, which may well resolve on its own spontaneously over time. Until then I need drops in my eye twice a day as artificial tears. I don’t mind having my drops & am very easy to care for!

I am in a foster home waiting to be adopted. I live with a very sweet 4 year old human here as well as a dog. The dog is cool & we play a lot. The small foster human is very kind to me & I follow him everywhere.

I’m super friendly & confident & I love everyone! My foster mum says I am a gentle soul & a very chill well behaved boy.

I must be an indoors only cat due to my cute pink nose.

If you would like to meet me in my foster home at Kingsley please email fostercare@cathaven.com.au giving your mobile number.

Thank you I really hope to hear from you soon.

Love Olly x

Health Issues

Olly has a condition with the right eye called Horner's syndrome. In Olly the cause was determined to be due to a large grass seed was found in the right ear and subsequentially removed. The eye may go back to normal with time or may be a permanent condition. It is recommended to put artificial tears in the affected eye 2 to 4 times daily as the blink reflex is absent. This can be purchased from the pharmacy. Cat Haven does not take any responsibility for any subsequent conditions or issues that may develop in the future as a result of this condition.
