Purrsonality Traits

I'm a sweet, lively, spry little monkey who came to Cat Haven as my owners weren't able to give me the care I needed. I'm a senior kitizen to be sure and would love to find a warm and comfortable retirement home to live out my golden years.

I'm a super trim, active 15 years old with a real spring in my step. I jump up onto the window sill to watch the world go by, I run around in my play tunnel, and am curious about life inside and outside of my space. However, nothing interests me more than your company - I would love to have someone to call my own, to look after and be looked after by. You will love my motor purrrr and if you have trouble sleeping it will set you off in no time. I'm really sweet and not too pushy - I can sense when you need me and when you don't, so when you need a break I'll amuse myself, probably with sleep as I do deserve plenty of that at my age!

I'm hanging out with my foster family meanwhile but would prefer to live with you as I prefer not to share their house with their big scary greyhound. I would be fine with smaller dogs and I love children. If you think you can give me the loving home I need, come meet me at my foster home in Karrinyup.

Health Issues

Miracle Indy has been diagnosed with an eosinophilic granuloma while at Cat Haven, which means that she has recurring lesions in her mouth likely due to an allergic skin disease. Essentially, her body has an overactive immune system which appears to be attacking her skin, both on her body and within her mouth.

For this reason she is in the Palliative Care Program which is a part of Cat Haven’s Animal Support Program (ASP). Due to age and/or health conditions it has been deemed by Cat Haven veterinarians that it is in her best interests not pursue any further diagnostics, surgery, or advanced medical treatments. Under the Palliative Care Program she will be entitled to free veterinary consultations and medication in relation to managing her condition and ensuring her comfort levels. This includes managing pain, mobility, appetite, hygiene, and hydration. It will also cover euthanasia at the Cat Haven clinic when the time comes. Miracle Indy is entitled to a 12.5% discount on Hills Z/D diet dry food (biscuits) at the Cat Haven retail shop.
