Want to adopt me?To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
Phone:(08) 9442 3600
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Gandalf is a super playful 3 year old boy who loves to play with everything even when it's not a real toy such as scrunchies and loose string. He does the best zoomies up and down the stairs!
Not a big fan loud noises which scare him. Also not a fan of being picked up although he tolerates it if needed. However night time cuddles on the couch are always on his schedule, he loves to stretch out his entire body on you and nuzzle into your neck.
He is a super chatty boy when you're near especially at meal time. He is a fairly independent cat and will come and go from your presence throughout the day when he chooses. His favourite places to sit are on the window, on the scratcher or anywhere that has a good view of birds outside.
He will need to stay indoors so that he doesn't get sun damage to nose and ears. He finds other animals a little stressful so would do best in a home without them.
He is very friendly with any people who come to the house and will greet us every time we come through the door. Come meet him at his foster home in Leederville.
Gandalf has medical waivers for:
- General Dental Disease
- Feline Acne
- Heart Murmur (mild, Grade 2)
- Weight Management
- FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease)
- Inappropriate Toileting (he has been at his foster home since early October and apart from his first day, he has had no reoccurrence of this. Likely stress related).
