The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Meow there friends! Sandi is the name and I am looking for a new family to love after my previous owner could no longer care for me.
As a middle aged gent - my 10th birthday is coming up soon and I'll qualify for a Seniors Card - I've worked out most of this cat business and like sleeping in laps and booping noses.
I like playing with toy mice, but when that's all too much effort instead try to find my human and curl up near or on them. If I'm unhappy I'll generally be found under something soft and fluffy.
While I like exploring new places and people, I do not like noises and prefer my human to watch my back while eating so probably not good around other cats or small children.
I've also worked out doors and windows and have ambitions to be an outdoors cat so keeping me in involves a degree of prior planning given I'm very very pale and should not be out in the sun much. A sheltered cat enclosure would be ideal!
Do you have a nice comfortable spot on the couch for me? My new home needs to be without young children and other pets. Plus my new owner should be experienced with cats and be understanding of my needs for both stimulation and company. My foster home is in Rockingham.
Sandi has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past. There are a number of different things that can cause this condition, and it can be difficult to determine the underlying cause without specialists testing and trials. It is not known what causes his skin reaction, therefore it is important that you use a variety of preventative measures.
Sandi has a condition called epiphora, sometimes known as blocked tear ducts. Blocked tear ducts can cause the under or over production of tears, and can predispose the cat to eye infections. Therefore he may require intermittent treatment throughout his life.
Sandi is still needs veterinary treatment from Cat Haven and requires a revisit for Dental Surgery. Occasionally we manage to fit these procedures in prior to adoption if they have been with us for a while, so be sure to confirm that this is still required when booking.
