Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi there! My name is Daria and I’m a shy 2 year old girl who was found as a stray. When I first came to Cat Haven I was a terrified little kitty, but I really want to trust humans again, and can’t wait for you to give me that chance.
I am a super quiet girl, who loves curling up on my armchair with my blanket and favourite toy, and I just can’t get enough of those delicious creamy treats! After life on the streets I still prefer to stay in my room, away from the scary open, and can usually be found in my comfy bed. I’m still very unsure about people, so I’m looking for a lovely human who will be patient with me whilst I get used to my new home. It may take some time for me to settle in and feel comfortable, but once I feel safe, I’ll happily sleep on your lap for hours! I’m not interested in playing with toys yet, but I do love pats, and can’t help but lean my head into those wonderful cheek scratches until I tell you that I’ve had enough. I’m a timid little girl, but if I don’t like something I’ll just go run and hide in a safe space until it’s over.
I’m still gaining my confidence - all I need is someone willing to give me a chance to come out of my shell. Young children and other cats still really scare me, so I would be best in a household where I can be your one-and-only. I don’t like fast movements or loud noises, so I would ideally suit a more mature, quiet household.
I can’t wait to find my purrfect forever home. You can come and meet me at my foster home in Perth.
Daria is recovering from Cat Flu. Cat Flu is a generalized term to describe the symptoms of many different viruses and bacteria that can cause flu-like symptoms in cats. These infections are specific to cats, and can not be passed onto humans or other species.
Daria has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats. She also has a small chip in her tooth that was present when she came to the shelter. Our veterinarians have carefully assessed this chip and no further treatment is currently required.
