Want to adopt me?To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
Phone:(08) 9442 3600
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Meet Nishiya, a super sweet but shy little one-and-a-half year old girl who came to Cat Haven after being found by the council rangers on a cold, rainy night! After fending for herself all her life she has only recently started to enjoy living in a warm house where food is plentiful.
She is still quite unsure of herself around people and she is occasionally spooked by the pair of goldfish she currently lives with but does enjoy a few pats and ear scratches. As she is still quite playful (may give little nips or swipes), we would recommend that she goes to a quiet and mature household without young children.
Nishiya will be fine as a solo cat or living with other easygoing cats.
Would you open your heart to me and give her a chance? She may always be on the independent side, but if you're patient you'll fall in love with her soon enough. Come meet her at her foster home in Wilson.

Nishiya has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
