The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi I’m Dewey and I'm 7 months old! I was found as a stray when I was just a tiny kitten so went to stay with my foster mama and papa. I had a stubborn case of ringworm and did not like being around humans. It’s been a few months now and I’ve recovered and am getting used to people.
Unfortunately, since most of my life involved me taking a lot of baths, medicine and trips to the vets, I’m still not so sure about most humans. Once I am comfortable I am a very cuddly and affectionate boy but I do not like strangers and will hide from new people. The best way to help me warm up to you it’s lots of play time and treats.
I would like a quiet home with a family who understands it will take time for me to come out of my shell. I am not sure how I will go with other pets but with a slow introduction I may be ok. I also need a home where I can minimise my exposure to sun damage.
Come and find me in my hidey hole at my foster home in Inglewood.
Dewey has been treated for ringworm by the Cat Haven veterinary team. After several weeks of medical therapy, we have assessed him and determined that the ringworm lesions are resolved and that he has recovered from this disease.
