Want to adopt me?To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
Phone:(08) 9442 3600
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi there! My name is Mandy. I am a very pretty girl who will, in time, give you all the love I can give in the world. Because I am so pretty, I do hope you don’t attempt to cuddle me immediately.
I can be a bit shy while I get use to my new surroundings. I initially hid for a few days when I first came to my foster mum’s place. After I sussed her out and realised she’s actually alright, I found out I love pats! I can’t get enough of them! I even purr to let her know how much I love them!
Although I do love my pats and gentle belly rubs, I am pretty quiet and still very shy. During the day I like to find a quiet hidden place to sleep peacefully. Humans are very big and sometimes move quite quickly, which makes me nervous. Sometimes I might swipe or hiss if I’m very scared. My foster mum says I’m improving so much in such a short amount of time! And very rarely swipe or hiss now! She thinks with a bit of time I will become a very loving, affectionate kitty.
My favourite activity is playing at night! I love the night time! This is when I love my scratches and pats the most. I also love to explore, my foster mum says I’m very curious when I’m feeling confident and I love to play with anything that will move!
I will need a home where I can minimise my exposure to the sun so that my pale nose is protected from sun damage.
If you are someone who can be patient and give me the time and space needed so I can be my best self, please do get in touch with my foster mum. She'll be happy to welcome you to our little home in Serpentine.
