Hi, I’m Giselle, I am a fun-loving 1 year old kitten with cute eyes and soft fur.
My favourite pastime is definitely playing! I will keep hitting a ping-pong ball around until it gets lost under the wardrobe and I can’t reach it out with my paw. I love playing with anything else that moves like leaves, paper and hair-ties. My favourite toy at the moment is a scrunched up post-it note. I also like a scratching post and I like playing uno.
Although shy, I like getting rubs. I will twist my body and fall over so that you can pat my belly for a minute. When I first arrived at my foster home I was very afraid. For several days I hid in a tight corner and didn’t want to move. Over a couple of weeks I gained confidence to move about the house and interact with my humans. Now I love to jump on the bed in the morning and under the covers when it's cold. I might stay by myself under the bed if I’m not given any attention. I will come out for a look around when things are quiet. I dislike being picked up and I get scared around new people and loud noises
My favourite treat is fresh clean water, especially if it is not from my own dish, such as from a vase that I will scoop out with my paw. Please come meet me at my foster home in Subiaco.
Giselle has presented with a mild case of gingivitis which is an inflammation of the gums. Dental hygiene may help prevent its development. Ask the cat welfare officer who is assisting you for a dental hygiene handout. We have recommended that she stays on a dental hygiene diet.Giselle has recovered from Cat Flu. Cat Flu is a generalized term to describe the symptoms of many different viruses and bacteria that can cause flu-like symptoms in cats. These infections are specific to cats, and can not be passed onto humans or other species.
