Meow there, my name is Symone (or as my foster mum calls me - Pumpkin) and I'm the cutest little kitty around!
I'm 6 months old but was found as a stray in an abandoned house when I was just a few months old so I'm still learning how to live as a loving pet.
I may take a little while to warm up to you but once I do you'll never get away from me. I love to sleep on my human's bed and lick her face while she tries to sleep - annoying I know, but I'm super cute so it's okay. I love to have pats and will purr loudly when you rub my head and chin. I'm very playful and sometimes I will decide that it's playtime and try to scratch/bite your hand but if you give me lots of toys to play with instead then I'll be entertained for hours. I love playing with my ball and chasing my mum's knitting wool all over the house.
I still get nervous sometimes when my human makes sudden movements or is walking around too much so I like to have a few little hidey holes where I can feel safe. My foster mum used the purrito wrapping technique when I first arrived to hold me wrapped up in a towel. This helped me to learn that she wasn't going to hurt me and that humans aren't so bad after all.
My favourite time of the day is mealtime - food is definitely the way to my heart. I have so much love and affection to give and am just waiting for my forever family to meet me. I'm sure you'll fall in love with my big curious eyes, soft fur and playful nature. See you soon! My foster home is in East Fremantle.
