The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hello furever friends, my name is Lynx. I am a very independent cat that loves to lay near glass doors or windows so I can watch the world go by but I also enjoy being around my humans in their favorite rooms. I adapt to new environments very quickly but it may take some time for me to fully come out of my shell. I always love asking for attention and receiving butt scratches, I am very polite and will always say good morning as soon as you get out of bed and when I haven’t seen you all day. I love to express my love with head boops, asking how your day was, and very loud purring.
My favorite time of day is dinner time, I always make sure to watch my foster mum fill my bowl so I can let her know that she is taking too long and to add extra wet food. I really enjoy playing with my feather wand and ping pong ball, I will chase it round the house until I have captured it. I am also a sucker for a really long brush, you’ll have me melting at your feet. I have a few issues with my eyes so I require eye drops twice a day, I get told I am a good girl all the time because I take them so well.
I have not been exposed to dogs or children however I think I’ll do okay with other cats and older kids as long as they still give me my space and freedom to be independent. Come say “Hi” at my current foster home in Beeliar.
Lynx had surgery to improve the functionality of her eyelids, as they were previously too small and turned inwards. An ophthalmology specialist performed the surgery and has assessed Lynx since, and is confident that the eyelids are now functioning well and not causing her any discomfort.
