Cat Haven Foster Care

Want to adopt me?

To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:

Phone:(08) 9442 3600

Email: fostercare@cathaven.com.au

The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Purrsonality Traits

Meet The Trio: Alex, Charlie and Grayson:

I'm Alex, a velvet coated Burmese who looks like liquid Lindt chocolate. I move like a jaguar, and I adore strokes, but what I love the most is to snuggle inside my foster teenagers Oodies while they read! This is truely my happy place!

I’m Charlie, a perfect medium-haired Grey, and I am the cat-walk model of the group. I love to sit perfectly poised by the window, and when you come into the room I’ll saunter over to greet you, curl round your legs and see what you’re up too, plus get a few strokes.

I’m Grayson and I love to watch my brother Charlie strut his stuff. If Charlie thinks you’re okay, then I will come over to get some strokes too. My favourite spot to sleep is curled up with Charlie and Alex. Brotherly love!

We are pretty chilled cats, and have taken instantly to being in foster care. With room to stretch, windows to look out, your best friends by your side, and humans to snuggle with - life is looking good. Oh, and our favourite new game- chasing The Laser Light!

We are all around 2 years old and have so much more to give. We cannot wait to find our Furever home as a Trio together. Come meet us at our foster home in Gooseberry Hill.

Health Issues
Alex has been diagnosed with Pectus Excavatum. Pectus excavatum is a common congenital malformation of the sternum and costochondral(rib) cartilages affecting cats, especially males. The condition results in a narrowing of the chest or a depression of the sternum into the chest cavity. This deformity, if severe, can reduce effective lung function and may also interfere with heart function. Alex also has scoliosis in the mid thoracic spine which is reducing his thoracic cavity volume even further. Some cats have no obvious associated clinical signs and can lead normal lives.

Grayson has presented with a mild case of gingivitis. Dental hygiene may help prevent its development. There are several measures you can take to improve your new cat’s dental health. Ask the cat welfare officer who is assisting you for a dental hygiene handout. We have recommended that he stays on a dental hygiene diet.
