The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi my name is Skylah and If you are looking for a special and quiet cat that needs extra love, I’m your girl!
I’ve been living with my foster mum for a few months. I love being around her but just like pats on my terms. When I come in for pats though, you will fall in love! My foster mum lifts me on her chest and we lay and have such a nice time.
I still get scared easy but can be relaxed and come out most times when I’m called. Sometimes you might find me cuddled up under the blankets or pillows, it’s so cosy there. My foster mum thinks it’s so quiet having me around. The only time I meow is at the birds outside or I let out the cutest squeak when she’s putting down my food bowl. I also love play time!
I came to Cat Haven because my owners could no longer care for me. I was adopted but sadly returned as I wasn't getting along with the other pets in the house, but hey I had only been there for 2 weeks - I shouldn't even been meeting them yet! Then I was once again adopted only to be returned again because I was stressed out (which really isn't that strange after all I have been through right?). After all this moving back and forth I am now looking for a family that is ready to make the commitment of offering me a forever home and giving me the time and assistance I need to settle in and live my best life. Sometimes I do wee in corners of the house but this usually tells you I’m upset or that you need to clean my litter tray. My foster mummy thinks it’s surprisingly easy to clean up! And that my beauty makes up for it.
I'm really soft and a beautiful cat to look at, I just need a quiet home and love and patience. I can’t wait until I have my forever home. Please come meet me at my foster home in Spearwood.
Skylah has had intermittent digestive issues. We have performed tests to rule out any underlying medical condition. We suggest she is fed Hills Z/D to help with her digestive system. Skylah has also displayed some evidence of toileting inappropriately. The urine has been checked to rule out medical concerns, and it is likely that this behaviour is associated with stress and/or anxiety.
