The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi my name is Yugo and unlike the worst car, I am definitely the best cat! I went from living on the streets, into a shelter and a foster house all in my journey to find a home!
I am still getting used to humans so loud noises or sudden movements can make me run away, but I have discovered the absolute bliss of a belly rub and a chin scratch and suddenly I’m not so scared anymore. In a quiet house with bigger patient humans, my foster carer has said that I am gorgeous, loving and worth the wait to earn my trust. I’m starting to believe her too because I even like to sleep on the bed at night!
I really like other cats, they made the settling in period a lot easier on me that’s for sure, but I am happy on my own as well. I haven’t met these things called dogs and I hid before I could run into the little humans. I also love my food and I hear I am very good at coming when called and also using the litterbox so I’m proud of that!
I will need to go to a home where I can minimise my exposure to the sun
I can’t wait to find my forever home and for you to discover all of my potential! Come visit me at my foster home in Hammond Park.
Yugo has a small chip in his lower right canine that was present when he came to the shelter. Our veterinarians have carefully assessed this chip and no further treatment is currently required. Yugo is still requiring veterinary treatment from Cat Haven and requires a revisit for a Dental Procedure between April-September 2021.
