The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Hello I’m Joel. I’m a big beautiful boy who looks like a sleek black cougar. I don’t act like one though, I’m very quiet and shy and I love to be petted, I’ll purr and purr if you scratch my back. My foster mum thinks I’ll be a snuggler in no time.
I don’t mind being on my own but I’d be a great friend for someone who is home a lot. I’m still pretty scared of loud noises, I hide in my cocoon when I hear something I’m not sure about.
I like to check my food out properly when I eat, I usually take it out of the bowl and eat it off the floor! My foster mum doesn’t mind, I clean up most of the mess myself and then give her lots of head rubs.
I was found as a stray so no-one knows anything about my past. I’d prefer a quiet household as I haven't been around people too much but I think I’d get used to most things in time, I can’t wait to find my furrever home.
