Cat Haven Foster Care

Want to adopt me?

To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:

Phone:(08) 9442 3600

Email: fostercare@cathaven.com.au

The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Purrsonality Traits

Hi, I’m Getsu! I’m a sweet FIV+ three year old boy. Every time someone walks into my room I greet them with meows and kneed so fast it’s like I’m jogging on the spot! I also love cuddling up close to you, purring, and back scratches! Although I am a lap cat I can sometime hiss or bite if something scares me.

I can warm up to you very fast but I will be best suited for a home with no other cats,  dogs or young children.

If you meet me I’m sure you will fall in love with my white chin, tummy, whiskers, anklets and knee high socks. Will you adopt me? Come meet me at my foster home in Greenmount.

Health Issues

Getsu has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a retrovirus that can compromise the immune system, spread by fighting and deep penetrating wounds. He should lead a normal life despite this diagnosis, but there are a few special considerations that need to be made in regards to his health and well-being long term. These include being an inside only cat; slow and careful introduction to other cats; and annual vaccinations and health checks.
