Want to adopt me?To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
Phone:(08) 9442 3600
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi, lovely to meet you! I'm Gem 💎
I am so looking forward to finding my forever home! I have so much love to give, I get excited to spend time with humans – so much so that my tail shakes! Kisses are my love language, along with soft little squeaks and rolling over for tummy rubs. When you get home, I’ll run up and meet you at the door. I am very enthusiastic about food, brushing and head butts but less so about being picked up (its more of a roll my eyes and tolerate it).
I’m a very chill girl, though I'm still a sucker for some midnight zoomies. A house that hasn’t got a lot of commotion would be ideal, I am very curious but can be overwhelmed with loud noises. Of course I’d need a slow introduction to your existing family, there are dogs & other cats at my foster home but we are yet to boop snoots. I am not sure how I feel about them yet, I like company - especially if my humans work but I am also used to being on my own – that’s my nap time.
I was adopted from Cat Haven as a kitten and I was lucky to spend 8 years with a family but sadly they could no longer take care of me so that is why I'm looking for a new furr-ever home.
If it sounds like I’d fit in to your home, please email Fostercare with your phone details and foster mum will be in contact to arrange a meeting at my foster home in Glen Forrest. I can’t wait to meet you!
Gem has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats. She also has a waiver for Weight Management.
