Purrsonality Traits

Meooooowww! Chirrrrup!

Hello, my name is Lulu, and I'm 7 years old. I’m the smoochiest cat you’ll ever find - I love my head scratches, neck scratches and generally being stroked. When I see you nearby and I think you’re coming in for a stroke I’ll chirrup at you, and when you stroke me when I’m not looking I’ll give you an appreciative chirrup! Careful though, if I get over excited I drooooooooool!

And when I’m happy (which is most of the time), I purr and purr and purr!

I’m very chatty, I’ll tell you what I want and respond to your reply!

I love to play, and I’ll let you know when I want to play, by going to the tunnel and meowing if you’re nearby to remind you I’m there and ready for action!

I love my food, and eat pretty much anything.

I’m happy snoozing where the sun pools are and in the evening I’ll come and sit on your lap for attention, and pets.

I’m a one man (well, girl) show and don’t want to associate myself with other pets. If I hear dogs barking, I get a little scared and go and hide. At my previous home I was getting stressed by another cat in the house so need to be the only sweetheart darling girl in my new home.

I’m sociable with other people, but not keen about being picked up.

Sometimes though, things do get a little overwhelming for me, and I find solitude in hiding under the bed covers (but hey, it’s also cold out there!)

At night, I know it’s sleep time and I’ll curl up on the bed with you, but I won’t disturb you, until it’s time to get up, and I hear you stirring.

So, if you want the purrfect cat, that’s ME! Chirrup!

Email with your phone details and foster mum will be in contact arrange a meet and greet at my foster home in Coogee.

Health Issues

Lulu was surrendered to Cat Haven with a history of being seen at the Perth Veterinary Emergency clinic after being hit by a car. Lulu has x-rays taken of her spine, pelvis and hind limbs but there were no fractures. At the time of discharge she could not use her hind legs and a spinal injury was diagnosed. She has improved significantly since then as she can now walk and jump. Her left hind leg is weaker than her right and she has an abnormal gait. After this period of time this is likely to be permanent. She does not appear to be in any discomfort.

Lulu still requires veterinary treatment from Cat Haven for Extraction of her upper R canine tooth and a scale and polish booked for 4 July 2022.
