Purrsonality Traits

Hi there My name is Parmie and I am a 6 month old mitten looking for my forever home. I am a VERY shy little girl, and like a lot of other cats, I need someone who is going to be patient with me and understand that I haven’t had the best start to life.

During my time with my foster family, I have gained a lot of confidence, but I still have a long way to go, I take a little while to gain trust and do not love to be picked up. BUT I do love head/chin scratches, sometimes it puts me to sleep. I used to sleep in my own safe space, but I am now brave enough to sleep on my foster mum’s bed and I like to wake her up by jumping on her in the morning.

My foster family have a lovely cat named Ivy who I LOVE, we have been introduced slowly and that worked very well, although she does get a bit grumpy at me sometimes but that doesn’t stop me loving her. I am a little scared of doggos and am yet to meet the household dog yet (he’s VERY tall).

I would be happiest in a quiet home with either no children or older children who know how to treat scared animals with respect.

I am very food motivated and LOVE treats but not too many as I am watching my weight. I like toys and used to think my foster mum’s hand was a good thing to play with but she has since taught me that I must only play with cat toys and not human skin.

If you would like to come and meet me, please email the Fostercare team with your phone details so foster mum can set up a meet and greet at my foster home in Cottesloe. You probably won’t see too much of me but maybe if my foster mum gives you some of my favourite treats, I might come out for a little head scratch.

Thank you for stopping by my profile, I hope you liked what I have written about myself. I can’t WAIT to meet my forever person/family.

Bye, bye for meow 💜

Health Issues

Parmie suspected of having a condition called Juvenile Gingivitis. Many cats will grow out of this issue before approximately 2 years of age, however some will have the condition for life.
