Purrsonality Traits

Peppa is 9 years old and looking for a new furr-ever home after her previous owner's baby became allergic to her. She needs to be an indoor only cat as she has a tendency to hunt birds. Here is an update from her foster carer:

"She's a dear little cat and I think we are bonding nicely. She does spend a lot of the night with me on my bed and she loves to snuggle up as long as there are no quick moves from me!!

She's social when we have a visitor...especially when they allow her to take her time to get close. Everything is interesting!

Her favourite treat is still the cat video entertainment on U tube. Sometimes she hides behind my fiddle leaf fig so they (in the video) can't see her watching them. She still occasionally looks for where they disappeared to behind that big screen too.

She'd love to go outside but has learned she's not allowed so now and again she has an urge to race around and over the furniture to expend some of her pent up energy. She's still somewhat easily startled at sudden movements or loud and or unfamiliar noises.

She loves laps, snuggling up in bed and a variety of treats and toys.

She's very much her own person and I have learned that her tolerance for petting is short although that too is getting better. She will instigate play too, especially hide and chase and find/attack the hidden hand under the cat bed!

She's looking beautiful in her winter coat and I tell her often that she's beautiful and I'm sure she enjoys the compliment!"

Email Fostercare with your phone details and her foster mum will be in contact to arrange a meeting at her foster home in Balcatta.

Health Issues

Peppa has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats. She has a small chip in her tooth that was present when she came to the shelter. Our veterinarians have carefully assessed this chip and no further treatment is currently required.
