Purrsonality Traits

Hello, I’m Snow, a quiet but curious 3-year-old who loves scratches and soft tummy rubs.

I am very shy to start with but once you give me enough time and loads of cuddles, I will end up finding you throughout the day to give you a head-bump and loads of kisses. I would prefer a quiet home, where I can have you all to myself.

Blankets are my big indulgence in life, if you have some for me; I’m down to cuddle. Playing with Fishy and my ribbons are fun to attack throughout the house. Food first thing in morning with my family is great to wake up to. Wet food is my favourite especially tuna, all you need to do is open the can and I am right there, but biscuits have a nice crunch. During the day I love to explore and a nap next to the flyscreen door where I can feel the wind on my face. I am not a big fan of loud noises when I am still getting to know you. Maybe in my past life I was a comedian or hairdresser because I love to talk so if you meow, I will meow back.

I've been adopted before but here I am again! One of my previous homes had a dog and the other home had cats - I didn't get on with either species and it stressed me out so I need a home with no other pets. I also get stressed out by babies and young children so none of those, either, please! I must be an indoor cat (or have a sheltered enclosure).

If you believe you can give me a truly forever home, email Fostercare with your phone details so my foster carer can organise a meet and greet at my foster home in Rivervale.

Health Issues

Snow has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats. She also has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past. It is not known what causes her skin reaction, therefore it is important that you use a variety of preventative measures.

Snow has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a retrovirus that can compromise the immune system, spread by fighting and deep penetrating wounds. She should lead a normal life despite this diagnosis, but there are a few special considerations that need to be made in regards to her health and well-being long term. These include being an inside only cat; slow and careful introduction to other cats; and annual vaccinations and health checks.
